Answer» i'm new to this STUFF . i HOPE someone can help me. i'm RUNNING windows xp. a couple of days ago, i tried to log in and all of my programs,files, folders were GONE (my username was still there). They are still on the computer(i checked the drive under someone elses name on the computer) but nothing that i had before shows up on my screen. I can't use any of the programs (says access denied, i don't have permissions ). System Restore will not work. I don't know what has HAPPENED or what to do. Someone please advise. ThanksDon't know what has happened to cause this but taking ownership of the folders/files might help. Note you have to use Administrator privelige to do this. |
