Solve : Using Find in NT 4.0?

Answer»

Here's what I'm trying to do...hopefully I'll explain this well enough.

I have a folder labeled KDS. In this folder there is a huge tree and eventually it breaks down into about 2000 folders each have about 4-20 files in each. There labelled something like this 003443d4.kob. They all end in .kob.

I NEED a way to find every .kob that is 0 KB's. I need to DELETE every .KOB that is in this KDS folder that is 0 KB's cause they cause problems. Can anyone think of how I can find every .KOB that is 0 KB's.

I've tried using Find under the start menu and I can't figure out how to do it. If i set the size to at most 1 KB it pulls up all the 1 KB's and 0 KB's....and then says your search needs to refined cause there was to many results. I GUESS NT has a limit of 10,000 results.

How do I get just the 0 KB'S!? One thing I can think of is to put 0 in the search field. If that is no help then you might try if all the files are not in the same folder, limit the search to a certain folder then use the detail view so you can see the file size and delete them yourself.
