Hello,
 When i go to use the "SEARCH' for my windows xp mytaskbar freezes.  Any explorer windows or other programs that are up on my desktop i can STILL use.  to turn off or restart the computer i have to use "control-alt-del" to do this.
  i have used several programs to search for virus' and malware.
  AVG, spybot search and destroy and malware bytes are the programs i used. 
 my computer works fine to my knowledge, the only issue is using the "search" on my start/menu taskbar.
  i am current on all of my window updates.  is there a virus, trojan horse, ETC. that could be causing this or have i possibly deleted part of windows and to to fix that.

Re-boot afterwards.Oooops....http://www.mywot.com/en/scorecard/pcbutts1.comcould there be a virus or something attached to a video file? so going under "search" to locate the possible video file the taskbar freezes and the ability to search my computer is possible?
