Answer» Hey, I was running out of drive SPACE so I uninstalled lots of old applications. I didn't THINK I did anything harmful, but now when I try to run Visual Basic or various other EXE's, 2 windows pop up. "Windows Installer" Preparing to INSTALL... "This MSI must be launched through setup." Setup. Then nothing happens. Please help, I think I deleted something! If I need like a dll or ocx file, or WHATEVER, and you are willing to send it to me, my AIM is "glomitri" and my email is "[email protected]" Thank you for your help!PS, sorry I didnt notice this before, it says that MSCOMCTL.OCX is missing or invalid. (It says that after I click "OK" on the install box a few times.i emailed it to you LET me know if that worksIt sounds like you've uninstalled some files needed. I would reinstall Visual Basic and hope it reinstalls the missing files.
