Answer» Nice In the Currently installed programs LIST, click to select Microsoft Office XP product, where Office XP product is the NAME of the specific Office product being used. You don't have any Office product installed? How is your computer doing?i don't think so. well we do have trials but we haven't activated them so i guess they are installed. The computers actually RUNNING at a pretty normal speed. its kinda nice.I'm glad. Go Start>Run, type in: msconfig Click OK. Click Startup tab. See, if ctfmon.exe is there. If so, uncheck it. This is actually very minor issue, but it'd be nice to get rid of it.well i when i tried it gave me an error and said i may have to be logged on as an admin (i am) and i clicked ok and it CLOSED and asked if i wanted to rrestart my computer. yeah Im satisfied with the speed now.Quote Im satisfied with the speed now.I'm happy, you're satisfied.when I turned my computer back on today the system config utility came up and said it was in diagnostic or selective MODE and then the MSconfig itself poped up. should I check the box that says dont show this message again?Quote should I check the box that says dont show this message again?Yes. That pop-up is normal.kk. thanx so much for your help broniYou're welcome |
