Answer» If you are in the States AT&T is offering DSL service for 14.95 a month... Why haven't installed SP2 yet? Because I'm doing it one thing at a time. At this point it looks like I don't have a choice anyway, because last time I clicked on the icon on the bottom, I initially started it, then wanted to stop because I realized ALL the updates were checked and it would probably take hours. Unfortunately I can't stop it. When I click on it, nothing happens. All my cursor will do is say the percentage of download. Like, right now it's at 11 percent. Isn't that nice?? There is no box that comes up now, it's just a little taskbar icon. I can't right click or left click on it. I tried rebooting, but the darn thing keeps downloading. And right now, it's slowing down my whole system, and I can't access all my email. Oh gee, it's at 12 percent now. By the way, can I delete the install icons on my desktop for CCleaner and AVG? Or at least move them to a file? Do they need to be on the desktop? Thanks, Frustrated in Florida13 percent yet? LOL For someone on dialup, this would be the way to go: Order Windows XP Service Pack 2 on CD. Quote By the way, can I delete the install icons on my desktop for CCleaner and AVG? I'm glad to hear, at least that I can delete those other files on the desktop. Gonna do that now. |
