Solve : Videos/moving ads not appearing where they should.?

Answer»

Hello. I have a rather odd problem with my computer. It's an Asus running WINDOWS 7 (not even a year old) and a few months ago whenever I turned on the computer I got a "GFXUI has stopped working error". I had stopped it by re- installing some .Net FRAMEWORK thing (not claiming to be a computer expert in the least) a few minutes ago (though the computer is running significantly slower now). But recently a new problem had arisen that I thought would be fixed when I got the error to go away. Videos and moving ads and generally anything flash- related on web pages are not showing up where they are meant to be. For example: say when I click on a video someone posted on Facebook or what have you. It disappears and shows up blinking unstably in the upper left- hand corner of my screen, leaving a white void on the page where it is supposed to be. But I cannot click any of the bottons where it shows up in the upper- left. I have to try to FIND the pause/stop/whatever bottons in the void it left. Ads on pages just BLINK all over my screen in pieces, usually in the upper portions of the screen. Anything flash- related will disappear visually from the screen if I move it down (if parts are click- able, I can STILL click on it - but it's a GUESSING game). I've never seen this problem before and was hoping someone could help me out.

Thank you for taking the TIME to read this.
- ErinHello,

Funny thing the exact same thing was happening to me just last week and it was making me crazy so I researched it and lo and behold I found out the solution , and it's an easy one here it is if you are running Windows 7, and Internet Explorer

1.Click on Internet tools icon ... top right hand corner of Internet Explorer
2. Click on Internet Options
3. Click on the Advanced Tab
4.Use Software rendering instead of GPU rendering which is the very top option needs to be checked , if not check that box check Apply and then you are done .. you may need to reboot ...

This was the solution that worked for me and when I actually did it all of my videos were playing properly , it may have something to do with the newest version of Flash , I tried removing it and then reinstalling it and nothing worked until I researched and found this solution ... Hope it works for you ...Oh my goodness, thank you so much! It totally worked, wow! < 3 Thank youuuu~! Hhahaa, that was so annoying!
