Solve : Vista installed on wrong HD.? |
|
Answer» I had to do a reinstall of Vista Home Premium. I have two HDs, an 80Gb for the OS and a 360Gb of storage and STUFF. The machine was SET up like this from the guy that built it. The HDs are SATA. When I installed Vista last NIGHT, I was frustrated about the problems with Vista and drivers, and wasn't paying attention to where it was loading. Evidently, it took the largest drive for c:/, and made the little one d: Now when it boots up, it seems slow, and it crashes. How do I fix this?Format the drive you don't want it on, reinstall it on the drive you do want it on.The 360 is probably faster than the 80G anyways...why not keep this setup ? ?The reason I didn't keep it was...Vista was loaded on the 320 Gb hd, and the 80Gb was like a storage. originally, the os was on the 80Gb. |
