Answer» I've just bought a Dell desktop running Vista Home Premium. With my old computer (XP Home), I could log on to a website page, click on a video sample download shortcut which opened media player, which downloaded and played the video clip. I could then click on file, save media as, and save it to 'my VIDEOS', then later burn it to a disc if I decided to keep it. My question is, how do I do this with the Vista media player? What web SITE, and what type of video file? One of the websites I've used is www.myvue.com where I'd choose a film, click info, then film clip or trailer. As I said , I was ok with XP, but I'm finding Vista less straight forward, LIKE my scanner being in Photo Gallery instead of on the desktop for instance! In Firefox, I CLICKED on clip, and trailer in 5, or 6 movies, and it says "No video". In IE, it gives me "Open", or "Save" option. I'm with Vista, as well.
