Solve : Vista not working...?

Answer»

After using the tools given from Windows, and using CCleaner to clean off my computer/temporary files/disk, my vista stopped working.
It started at taking a long time to START up... Like 10 minutes, stuck at a blank screen after login.
Now, it won't turn on at all.

I don't know where to find my startup disk. I am restoring everything now, though it'll take hours to finish.
This is the vista my mother uses for her work, (I am 14) and I am getting blamed for breaking the computer.

What should I do?Take the blame and APOLOGIZE. You need to be careful what files you play with when using a UTILITY that can afffect system files.Quote from: Quantos on October 11, 2010, 01:00:35 PM

Take the blame and apologize.

That is hardly productive...

You sound like you are making a mountain out of a mole hill. I would advise to slow down a little and not be so DRASTIC.
The 'startup disk' may be a partition on your drive and if not we can help...I'm not sure that a full re-install is the answer though.

What tools were they?
Did you use registry part of CCleaner?
