Answer» I just got a Toshiba Satellite a135s2276 500mg ram 1.6 dual-core laptop and was not impressed that it had to be VISTA... So I was wondering how hard it would be to go back to Xp, if it would be trial and error or if there was a WAY to find out if its even possible at this point...Why not Leave vista on the PC until SP2 comes out. Its possible to install XP as a second OS. Jonas I would start by going to the Toshiba site and see if drivers are even available for XP. Did you get a Vista DVD to reinstall with if you change your mind, or would it be gone for good? (Please ignore the previous post up there. )Thanx GX1, I didnt get an install dvd and sadly I wasn't surprised. I did get a recover disk does this mean formating would erase for good without the chance of reinstalation? what should i ignore , Dual booting or leaving Vista on my Comp ? You might also want to check with the manufacturer to see how this will affect your warranty...as i SAID in another thread on this machine it will be SEEING the shop soon with all the changes that are being made.
