There seems to be no affect to the running of the computer - its speed for example.
What if any is the effect of this virtual memory shortage and what should I do?
Does it mean I need to get extra memory, and if so can you recommend.
For info the capacity is 34.5, 23.8 used, 10.7 free.

Okay. That's BARELY enough to run XP. If you are going to CONTINUE using that system you should add more ram.Allan,

Can ram be "plugged" into the BACK, really don't know what to do if I need to open the box.You need to install ram inside the system.
