SOMEONE OFFERS me a VNC remote service so that they can remotely via the net to take control of my PCs in order to fix them. I am not sure how safe it is and I am interested about what you would feel about this kind of service.

It's reliable tool. I would offer...You can password protect the incoming connection, and with certain VNC software, you can insist on an encrypted connection. Both makes the connection more secure. If you are sat at your PC when the connection takes place, you can watch everything they do. You should FIND it reasonably safe. Just don't LEAVE the VNC SERVER running when you don't need it.
