Answer» Hello I'm using Windows XP and have suddenly LOST the ability to adjust volume and brightness from the key board. any SUGGESTIONS?Have you tried RESTARTING? If you have and it doesn't work, do you remember downloading/installing/opening something that might of changed a setting or something?There is a specific driver that your laptop uses to engage that feature. It may have been disabled or uninstalled by accident. I would go to your laptop manufacturer's website and drill down to the driver downloads for the model of laptop that you have and REINSTALL it. Or you could just tell me your brand and model number and I'll try to post the link.
