Solve : Volume Icon Missing?

The VOLUME Icon is missing from my toolbar. I have checked to see
that the "Place Volume Icon on the TASKBAR" box is check-marked under
the Sounds and Audio Devices on the Control Panel.

Any help appreciated.

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/319095Sometimes the icon can disappera when the volume control hasent been used for a while. Change the setting to show volume control on taskbar in audio settings.
