Answer» When I enter a site that has live web cams, I get all the text but the area were the web CAM picture should be is blank with a Red X in the upper left conrner. I have no problems DOWNLOADING pictures except for live cam pictures. I am using Windows XP with Service Pack 2.
Thanks for any helpThis is probably because you need to install a PARTICULAR component into your browser in order to view the web cams. Please provide a link to an example cam (and please God let it not be porn). hawaiilive.sheraton-hawaii.com/sm-cams.cfm
Thanks,
RonI'm seeing it here. When I first went to the site with Internet Explorer, I could see that Java was starting and was needed to display the webcam view. I think you may need to download Java from http://www.java.com/en/download/windows_ie.jsp.
By the way, the link you provided did not work for me. I went to the home page, then went to http://hawaiilive.sheraton-hawaii.com/sw-cam-sandbar.cfm. RONMAR....... I'm seeing it ok......... As suggested by soybean........ check to see that you have the latest Java ....from sun SYSTEMS ....... you might also check tools/Internet options/advanced tab and see which VERSION of Java you have installed and be sure its ticked .
