my computer is a ibm thinkpad R60 with windows vista ultimate sp1 and it keeps making a loud CLICK noise i think its the hard drive the OPERATING system has been rebooted many times i think like 20 or even more and when I say rebooted i mean erase and format the hard drive and then re-install windows is it BAD to keep erasing and reinstalling an operating system its not been formatted 20 times in like a week im talking like over the period of a year and a half is that bad!!??Why did you have to erase and reformat so many times?because of the fact it is used for  a business we have to download alot of software files,apps,programs to SUPPLY everyone with and after downloading all sorts of CRAP it gets wicked wicked slow so we have to reformat it and i asked the other tech here and its only been reformatted 14 times not 20 sorry for mix up i wasent sure?clicking noise = hard drive is about to dieImmediately start backing up your data and use that machine as little as POSSIBLE...you don't have much time.
