Answer» i have this issue with my pc, that every traceroute i do, the first hop is to some japanese firm, called Softbank, with this adress: softbank126056143139.bbtec.net. I never heard of this firm until i encountered it in my traceroute and netstat commands. I did an netstat command on severall pc's here, and i think, this CONNECTION comes budled with a P2P programm. my question is, can i just block this connection with windows firewall or is there another sollution? (ps: i live in the netherlands, so being provided by a japanese firm does not make sense to me)Talk to your ISP and please let us know what they say. :-?today, all of a suddon i found the other pc's are using softbank to make connection too. this wasn't like this yesterday... calling the ISP is probably a good ideaSoftbank looks a rather dodgy OUTFIT but my Japanese isn't what it should be. If you want to post a Hijackthis log, I'll have a look at it for you.Download lspfix and save it to a floppy. Remove the floppy and make it write protected. Boot to safe mode and run your AV and anti-spyware programs to remove malware. Removing malware can cause you to not be able to access the internet, so do the download first. After you have removed the malware, reboot and run lspfix from the floppy.LSPFix is not to be toyed with. Wrongly using this tool can result in loss of internet connectivity.never worked with hijakthis but seen it sometimes. suppose this should be it:

i suppose this should do. Now i'll try a full system scan with Nav and Ad-aware in save mode, but i will indeed save the ispfix first. i think i'll discuss what to do with it with my father first (yes, i'm just 16 ;-)) thanks for the help sofar
