Solve : weird video problem?

When i play VIDEO it is kinda redish and very dark. Now keep in mind that i have tried 4 different video players including vlc and ive installed EVERY codec i can think of.

Now here is the weird part. I have windows media CENTER and it plays videos just fine. However i can't fast forward or rewind with it. The weird part is if i open a video with SAY media player and then open any video with media center the video in media player clears up and views fine.

what the heck should i do to fix this weird problem.

thanksI always try and go through the troubleshooters in the Help and Support Center provided by Windows, have you CHECKED there?  yeah i did check the windows help section and i could'nt really find anything to help.
