The 'WELCOME' screen that appears on the BOOT seems to stay for a longer tenure than USUAL! What could be the cause for this TRIVIAL delay? Can DEFRAG help? Against all registry keys & all other leftovers, I did "Select All" & removed them!? Otherwise, System is OK!Then as I said, I wouldn't worry about it.

Right click taskbar in open spot. CHOOSE Task Manager. Observer CPU hogs.

start. run [ msconfig ]

Click start tab. Disable all programs not needed.
