Solve : What do I do if mouse won't work??

Answer»

Hello Everyone!

I'm sorry if this is a repeat question.

Does ANYONE know which keys to use in order to access "file" "format" "Edit" and other options in Word 2003 and Internet EXPLORER 7 when the mouse isn't working or a screen freezes?

I recall a friend using CTL and/or ALT and either arrow keys or tab.

Any help will be appreciated.

I have Windows XP
Office 2003
IE 7
512 MB of RAM
Dell Mouse
Press Alt, then use the arrow keys to go left/right along menus.
Press Enter to select an option, right to open sub menus, left to close sub menus.
HOWEVER, maybe you should be addressing the issue that MAKES this necessary. Quote

Thanks for the answer. I appreciate it!! By the way, I did get my mouse problem resolved -- Dell sent me a new one. However, I wanted to know what to do if the mouse malfunctioned again, so I don't have to go through the irritation of trying to make a broken mouse work until I got it fixed or got a new one.No problem, thanks for posting back.
Glad you got your issue resolved. You can use MouseKeys to control the cursor VIA the keyboard.
