Answer»

When you run a installation file.. What exacktly does it do? Does it only copy files too an map and thats it? and how can one file have so much data too makes so many diffrent files? Gha explain it all how a installation is please! You may find this helpful.there's a whole long list of things that are changed, added, ect. a couple COMMON is the registry and file assosiation... Some of wich is irreversable(realplayer reasosiates .MP3 and many others sound files) . Some (Nero like) cd authoring programs lock the cdr drive so that cd-r's can only be created in the installed program. i saw a computer that had 5 different cd authoring programs after removing all of them the cdr was still unuseable in the STANDARD windows burning... Not if you know what you are doing. You can remove all traces of them in the Registry. I have Nero 6 Ultra and can use other programs, if I WISH. I've burned with WMP and with the standard Windows thing. hehu ...... Perhaps if you EXPLAINED why you asked the question, we can provide you with a more definative answer.
