Solve : what is equivalent to autoexec.bat in Windows XP?

Trying to run OLD MS-DOS program (MemoryMate) in Windows XP.  Program requires two commands to be inserted into autoexec.bat.  What program performs equivalent function in XP and how does ONE edit it?c:
