Hi ! I have a PC that recently someone just install the antivirus PC tools. Then this PERSON made a scan and put the viruses in quarentine. It was ALREADY late cause the antivirus was restarting the PC and I made the choice to unistall it. I recently install AVG free edition. But still havent made anything with this one. Right now Im in safe mode cause the last thing I actually did was turn on the automatic updates on. I did some updates even the updates made some removal of malware. But then it happen I recieve an update to install Service Pack 3 from winXP home edition. I install this one and restart. It didnt HELP to notice can couldnt load the windows and all I can do now is get to the BOOT.INI. Here I made the choice to go to safe mode with networking.
I understand I need help to KEEP cleaning the PC and return to normal windows. I also would like to know if is posible to undo the update of service pac 3 or know if is not necesary.Are you saying you have two antivirus programs installed on your computer?Yeah, your post is very unclear, but start with uninstalling SP3 through Add\Remove. No service pack should be installed on not working well computer.I made a sistem recovery and everything is just fine now. the service pack was uninstalled. I do need to know now. How can I know witch DLL my PC are missing?

What I said first was that the computer had install an antivirus but I unistall it. I did install another one and make sure it was just one antivirus. Now I just wanna make sure that it wont give me messages while working on it. If you did a system recovery you aren't missing any .dll's...
