Answer» Okay, look. Let's try this again. Just open Windows Explorer. Once it's open, type c: in the address bar and press enter. That should take you to the top of C: Drive. Now once you do that, look on the right side. How MANY folders do you see named Windows or Windows.old or Windows.001 or anything like that?
If that doesn't work go to START - RUN and type: %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,c: Then press ENTERI had to use the second method as there is no address bar after opening Windows Explorer. After going to run and typing %SystemRoot%\explorer.exe /e,c: It brought up drive C which only show one windows folder.Okay, that's fine. Still not sure why you saw a "countdown" after the repair INSTALL, but if you changed the SETTING to zero in System Properties (my first post in this thread) you should be fine. Sorry for all the confusion. No PROBLEM, sometimes I have to have things SPELLED out exactly to make sure I'm following someones suggestions properly.
