Answer» Greetings, I have discovered the Windows Task Manager and curiously would like to KNOW more about the entries found there. Is there a concise source of information to get details on individual entries there as I have ALSO found out that these are pertinent to computer functions, etc. but have searched Windows Help with no results, I have gone to the internet and searched for example, the image NAME under processes in Windows Task Manager, . . .hcpcsvcd.exe, and have minimal non discript information. JpHere's one good source of info on processes: http://www.liutilities.com/products/wintaskspro/processlibrary/. If you don't find what you're looking for there, you'll just have to search for other sources. hcpcsvcd.exe is not listed there and I believe this is probably an indication that it's very unusual. And, indeed, a Google search on hcpcsvcd.exe yields very little. Have you done a full hard drive scan for viruses recently? No, I haven't, as I have previously accessed links from this forum, (http://www.destroyadware.com/articles/removal/), and am only aware of the process of reviewing the programs in the Task Manager, and that certain precautions should be taken when deciding which programs are uneeded or unfriendly, . . so I'm just now starting to appraise these, the one in mention when viewing the Task Manager Processes, . .
