Specs Hp compaq nx9010 Windows xp Operating System Windows 2003 Professional Edition If any of that helpsSome things to try. 1. Error Checking- This takes about 30 minutes. Start - my computer - right click local disk (C) - properties - Tools Tab - Error checking section - Check now - check mark both boxes - Start - This requires a RESTART to begin.
2. Start - Run - type - sfc /scannow - OK Don't forget the space between c and / You will need the Recovery CD that came with your PC if any thing is found wrong. Don't insert unless asked for.
You can check to see if you have a restore point before your trouble started. Start - all programs - accessories - system tools - system restore.
For your Outlook Express Email I will give what I picked up a while back For were your Outlook emails are located on your PC. The easiest way to locate Outlook Express' email store is to ask Outlook Express. Open it up, and then in Tools, OPTIONS, on the Maintenance tab there's a button labeled Store Folder. Click that and it will tell you the folder containing your email folder. Highlight the address and right click it and left click copy. Start - Run - Paste in the address - click OK At the left top - Edit - Select all - right click your highlighted files - send to your CD & DVD and put on a CD If their not their. than I don't know.
