Answer» I'm TRYING to set up a BUTTON on my keyboard to OPEN Search every time I hit that button. However, it requires a file location for the program and I can't find it. I did a search for search but I got no results. Anyone know where it is?You already have such a key. It's called 'F3'. Memorable, huh.Dilbert, what kind of keyboard do you have? My Logitech keyboard has a special Search button on it, and it can be programmed to open a web browser to a search site such as Google or to search for files, or it can be programmed to do other things. This is DONE by opening Logitech's SetPoint control panel.Well, Whaddya know! I do have an easily remembered shortcut. (Emberassingly, my keyboard has a pic of a magnifying glass under the F3 key ) |
