This could also give you a chance to run some scans on the hard drive.Before we open that computer, and play with hard drive.... We may have a combination of issues here (I'm not excluding hard drive, but I'd leave it for later). 1. 256MB of RAM is definitely one of culprits. 2. Cleaning/defrag issues. 3. Infection, possible. How big is hard drive, and how much free space is left?
