I won't make you unable to use those, it will just make it so that there is LESS **** to SLOW down your browser. Also do a speed test as someone mentioned earlier. So if I disable yahoo toolbar and yahoo toolbar helper, I can still use yahoo for a search engine? Also, enable all the other add-ons like Symantec and Norton because I use Norton. RealPlayer is ok though? I dont have to disable that, right?Quote from: Jack Catalano on October 26, 2011, 02:32:48 PM So if I disable yahoo toolbar and yahoo toolbar helper, I can still use yahoo for a search engine?Yes, you could make Yahoo your default search engine. Here's a reference on how to make such a change: http://www.intowindows.com/how-to-set-google-as-default-search-engine-in-internet-explorer-9/ The reference talks about changing to Google, so just substitute Yahoo for Google in your case. It's on all Windows systems. Unless you actually like and use them in general Toolbars will use system resources that could be elsewhere... And i NOTICE you have more than one...if you don't use them regularly get rid of all of them. |
