The PATH of desktop is

C:\Windows\Desktop

While when i open windows explorer, i see desktop at the top ,

But i can not FIND it in c:\windows.

Why this??P.S. using 98 Any IDEA?? What OS are you using?

I think that desktop is actually under C:\Documents and Settings\" your profile".Win 98se fully updated. Can find Desktop folder in C:\Windows no PROBLEM.. Don't have Win 98.

I am using 98 SE.

Well, when i open windows explorer, there are tw pane ,left pane and right pane.

I can see Desktop at the top of left pane.

But when i go to C:\Windows, in Windows Explorer, I can not see any Desktop folder there.
