Answer» My Win XP was shut down wrong, and now it will not start up. When I boot up, it gives a message to use the LAST good config. or start in safe MODE. It will not do either. At the END of the countdown to go into start normally, it just freezes. What can I do?boot to your windows xp cd, go to repair console at the command prompt type in chkdsk see if that works.Thanks for the help, but I had to reinstall windows.
