Solve : Win 2000, but no DVD decoder?

1.	Solve : Win 2000, but no DVD decoder?
Answer» Can't play DVDs. DVD Player is not listed under Programs, Entertainment. If I open it via Help, it opens but does NOTHING. Help indicates there is no DVD decoder, tho they are provided by Windows and the DVD drive manufacturer. It's a Pioneer DVD-R 104 which I use all the time to record DVDs I create with Adobe Premiere and Studio 9. So wha happened to my decoder? Where can I get one and how do I install it? Thanks!
