Solve : Win 7 MAC problems?

Answer»

So I am on a network with port security and I was made aware a little while ago that there was a known issue with Win 7 having a hard wired "spoof" that it did with the MAC address that tripped port security. Well, I let one of the younger techs take the lead on it, and for the better part of a year now, we have had no issues. However we just installed a new Cisco switch to GIVE us some additional capacity, and there were a few different systems that were moved around during the install, but everything was well documented and put back where it came from. Now, however, port security has tripped on a lot of these systems, on my bosses 3 seperate times (which is why I'm now in charge of taking care of this.) CURRENTLY I've disabled port security to allow everyone to work, but that is not a viable permanent solution. My question is, does ANYONE here know how to fix the underlying cause of the issue in that Win 7 likes to send out SPOOFED MAC addresses?Perhaps this will help: http://www.oxid.it/ca_um/topics/configuration.htm
