I am trying to figure out why my computer is not falling to SLEEP. I am RUNNING it at monitor off at 10 min and sleep 30 min , but I see after 30 min the computer is still runnig with the fans on ,there is no video, but it does not sleep.
Also when I try to turn it back on from sleep mode the mouse does not respond .I have to reboot it all the time ,any help is appreciated
I am running win 7 ULTIMATE 64 4 gigs of ram, 3.2 pent duo, biostar t 41 hd mb, 1 tb barrcuda hd,trendnet 641 PC wireless connect, nvidia 1 gig video

I don't recommend using power saving features on a desktop system. Except for the monitor at any rate.While hibernation and sleep work perfectly for some, they simply don't work properly for others. Believe it or not, Microsoft never really PERFECTED either for all systems. Instead of either I suggest setting your hd and display to power down after a defined period of inactivity. It will work well and you and your system will both be happy.
