Answer» is the cd ........working OK does the cdrom drive need a a clean.......is the restore disk scratched/dirty........if you hold down the f8 on boot......you should have options....have you......like start windows from the command PROMPT..A:\.............i would load the restore disk again and twist it slighly in the drive......Merlin: Drive is working okay. My BIOS is set for the hard drive to run third. First floppy, then ONE cd rom drive, then the hard drive. The computer CHECKS in that order.can you get a replace recovery disk from the makers of your pc......>>>>>>.if it only loads 65% it could the cd disk....do you have any windows bootdisks...... >>floppies
