Solve : Win XP Pro SP2 will not boot.? |

Answer» My desktop was working fine until I powered it down and went on vacation for a week. When I returned, it will not BOOT. It is set up to log on automatically as the main user (me) when it boots. It gets as far as showing me my desktop BACKGROUND, with no icons. I then SEE "loading your settings", followed by "logging off", "saving your settings". It then repeatedly cycles through "loading" and "saving" settings until I cut the power. Same THING happens when I attempt to enter Safe Mode. Any THOUGHTS on how I can get my system under control? There seems to be a lot of these... |
