Solve : win xp upgrade? |

Answer» Please someone help me with this. I have been thinking of reformatting my harddrive, but right now I have to load on the full version of win 95, 98 UPGRADE and win xp upgrade. Can I just by pass all this loading and just load on win xp? The reason why I'm wondering is because it SAYS upgrade on the outside of the cover, and some people say yes and some say no. Will it do a full install or will it look for OLDER versions of xp?You just NEED the CD from a previous qualifying product. It will ask you to insert it early in the install process to verify. You do NOT have to install a previous version, and should not with a full install CD. As these are all upgrade disks themselves however,who knows with Microsoft. |
