Ive just purchased an Asus note book with WIN7 home PREMIUM pre installed, can i download WIN7 to copy to DVD for emergency ive got the code number on the bottom of the laptop.
Thanks for any help jhaddHere is a link to an Asus Manual.  SINCE I don't know what model you have this is just a general manual.  You should probably have an Asus manual and can look for the same information.  I think you can only do this on selected models.  You might have to search to see if your note book is one of those selected models.

You have to make sure it’s the same version as originally installed on your machine otherwise it won’t activate.
Be aware that you will only get the o/s and not the bloat ware installed by the machine manufacturer.
