Solve : Window sizes and resizing?

Answer»

A few weeks ago my ferret ran accross my KEYBOARD and did something to change the popup window size. When I CLICK on a hyperlink the window that comes up is 1 by 2 inches and I always have to maxamize to see anything. How/Where do I go to permanently resize the window? I've tried dragging the window manually (which worked with 98) but I have XP and that doesn't seem to work.Windows and the programs running within Windows should remember the last state and size of the window the next time it is open. OFTEN simply maximizing the window within the program and then closing and re-opening the program should make it open maximized the next time you open it.

If this does not resolve the issue we'll need some additional information. I'd assume since you said hyperlink that this is happening in a BROWSER. Is this Internet Explorer and what version is it?

Thanks and maybe it's time you get your ferret a computer of his own. The computer isn't remembering the size of the window when I change it. I'll resize, than close and open it again and it comes up small everytime. It happens in Internet Explorer and in Firefox. Both are the current versions but I don't remember the exact numbers for them...

Ferret now has his own computer and is quite happy with it. Open troubled window. Maximize it.
Hold CTRL button, click File, then Exit. Release CTRL.
Re-open window. Is it maximized now?
nice one broni....If I remember correctly, it's been M$ problem since Win 95, and they were never able to correct it.
Same old crap in Vista.
