Answer» ive been trying to install windows 2000 onto a new laptop that came with winxp. the processor is intel core 2 duo. ive tried LOOKING up a HCL but i couldnt find it. anyone have any experience with this? does anyone know if it is possible?You'll have to tell us what you've tried already - are you attempting to use a genuine W2k cd with a COA - make and MODEL of the laptop etc, any displayed error messages.... Please read the "Please read this first" post which APPEARS at the START of every forum.Its possible but I would just do a clean install of 2K.What's an HCL ? ?
