HELP!!! TCIs this a home network, or are you connected to a client-server network?
What message do you get when you try to log on with the old password?
Have you tried typing in a new password?
Hi, This is my own pc at home. Have tried typing my old password which brings up the message cannot log you on. Have also tried logging on as administrator with administrator as the password and even with no password with no success. Here's exactly what the message says. "The system could not log you in. Make sure your User name and domain are correct, then type your password again. Letters in passwords must be typed using the correct case. Make sure that the CAPS Lock is not accidentally on". Topconker:
Sounds like you changed your password and cannot remember what it is, now.
Did you also change (or add) the password to the default administrator account? If not, call the BUSINESS from which you bought the computer and ask for the password.
Do you connect to a network at work with this computer over the Internet?Go here and follow instructions.

It's a program that will reset the password of any account on your computer, and you don't need to know the password you are resetting. Thanks Mystik, worked a treat all ok now, had to enlist the help of out IT guy but he sped through it. Really appreciate your help. Regards, TCYou're welcome.
