Answer» I am running Windows 2000. When I OPEN the recycle bin I can't see any of the items in there. I have the "delete items permanently instead of recycle bin" check box cleared. Are you running disk cleanup as a scheduled TASK? Disk cleanup, along with many 'aftermarket' things will empty your recycle bin.Yes there is a short cut icon in there and no I haven't RUN any of the cleaners since I put it in there.
