Solve : Windows 2000 Server Setup problem.......?

whenever i try to INSTALL windows 2000 SERVER.....in the option of choosing partition to install .....it shows all my partitions as - "UNFORMATTED or DAMAGED".

PLZ help me to solve this problem...We're going to need alot more info on the machine itself, the hard drive and what happened prior to this.
