Answer» I get a blue screen when I start up my laptop (IBM) with MS Windows 2000. The message tells me to run CHKDSK /F but I cannot get to the screen to enter the command. I can't even run it in safe mode. Can anyone help? I can't even run it in safe mode.Does that mean you can't run the COMPUTER in safe mode or you can't run chkdsk in safe mode? What is it?Travel to bootdisk.com and grab a WinME bootdisk and run chkdsk from the floppy at startup... patio. 8-)Not if it's formatted NTFS. EEEK!
