Answer» I'm trying to screen record and I have to use basic mode so the record will be smoother. However there is screen tear, I tried enabling v-sync in amd settings no luck. What gives? HELLO; what do you mean 'screen tear', is there a way you could send a screenshot?Looking into it a bit it seems a lot of people have issues with NON Aero (Aero Basic) modes and screen tearing. VSYNC cannot be enabled because it's not a 3-D RENDERED scene but RATHER more like a frame buffer. Aero shouldn't affect performance even while recording unless you have a older graphics card.
