I think it referring to pulling a train whistle. Oh, Thankyou so much, I had ALWAYS wondered what it meant.

And about windows, I'd like to read more on its features etc, I don't know much about it yet.I herd they made it for those MINI laptops and they cant run vista and they are worried about linuxhttp://www.microsoft.com/windows/windows-7/

Has information on it and lets you download it.Quote from: computeruler on January 10, 2009, 08:43:52 PM

That's an idea. Microsoft should make a very stable operating system specific for low spec computers.

From what it said when installing, the minimum for windows 7 was 1ghz cpu and 1gb of ram.Quote from: Briguy on January 10, 2009, 08:44:47 PM

Are you a Mac person then? Or did you really mean to say "windows 7"I only meant Windows 7.Quote from: Briguy on January 10, 2009, 08:48:50 PM
From what it said when installing, the minimum for windows 7 was 1ghz cpu and 1gb of ram.

I've got it running on a computer with a 1.6 single core processor and 512MB RAM.
It's perfect. Everything I would expect from an Operating System.
It looks good, and it's speed isn't compromised by its graphics. Very fast, and very user-friendly.

I know what I'm GETTING next.Quote from: Carbon Dudeoxide on January 11, 2009, 12:07:04 AM
