It is difficult to read otherwise and you want to make it as easy as possible for us to help you.

Second, What is new or different since the last time everything worked properly (ie, new hw, new sw, virus, error, etc)?

Third, Download BlueScreenView:
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/blue_screen_view.html
unzip downloaded file and double click on BlueScreenView.exe to run the program.
when scanning is done, go to EDIT - Select All
Go to FILE - SAVE Selected Items, and save the report as BSOD.txt
Open BSOD.txt in Notepad, copy all of the content, and paste it into your NEXT replyyesterdayWhat we have here is a failure to communicate.ok here the attachment.

[year+ old attachment deleted by admin]I asked you to paste the results in your post, not to use a link. I'll do it for you.

I asked you what is new or different since the last time everything worked properly. Please answer the question.

Please open device manager - are there any yellow or red symbols?

there are no red or yellow symbols

it stopped working when i updated norton security scanner, but i had problems before that because
when it started to make annoying sound like buzz for a minute then it stopped. Please describe where the sound seemed to be coming from and when you heard it (when the system first booted, when you were doing something specific, etc). Please - stop with the one sentence responses and start providing as MUCH background information as you can so we can try to help you. Thank you.the sound seems to be coming from the speakers. the sound started a month ago and it seems to be making sounds when the laptop starts up. when i turn on my laptop my auto speech tool and Skype start. I was about to turn facebook yesterday and it froze and showed the blue screen.Okay. How often do you get the blue screen - does it happen every time you boot up or only once in a while? If it happens all the time, please boot to safe mode and leave it there for a while and let's see if that works normally.the first time i do it it freezes and so i  force it to shut down. then i turn it on and it asks me if i want to run on safe mode same mode with networking , stage modw with command prompt or run normally. run normally just freezes. safe mode works well but their is no sound and windows security centre doesn't work. I am using the laptop right now in safe mode with networking.      Okay. Let's see if it's something loading with the system that's causing the PROBLEM. This can be time consuming....

Open msconfig and on the General tab choose "selective startup" (uncheck all three items) and reboot. Does the problem still occur? If not, start adding items back to msconfig one or two at a time, rebooting after each change, until the problem reappears and you'll have identified the offending process. This is clearly a time consuming procedure, but it is the best way to determine if some process loading with the system is the cause of your problem.

After you've isolated the cause, do not use msconfig to permanently disable the process. Instead, if it is a service go to START - RUN and type: services.msc (then press enter) and disable the service OR, if it a program, you can download & run a simple app such as Mike LIN's Startup Control Panel (http://www.mlin.net/StartupCPL.shtml) to enable, disable, or otherwise manage startup programs.
i have more than three things that run in start up 40 is it okay if i uncheck all the system config. Please read the instructions again.i can only uncheck 2 boxes when all of them are checked there is no internet connection.
