My recently bought Mx17 Alienware laptop is acting a little buggy... well a lot. I jsut got windows 7 downloaded and it was being a little buggy cause of the widgets i downloaded, so i restored it a few hours back and now it will not pick up any connections to internet
it used to pick up connections from atleast 2 miles AWAY now it wont pick up my home connection
yes it is wireless.

Windows 7 does have a recovery/backup method, but you have to start USING it before your add more gadgets to it. The restore feature is not always enough.

You may have to re-install and start over again.
And next time amake a recovery partition and a recovery CD.
You got Windows 7 downloaded from where?nvm i sent it into radio shack, what happened was the restore put it back to were windows seven was only half downloaded.
anyway its FIXED and also some companies (like dell) who have computers that have vista also include a free shipment of windows sevenMx17 Alienware is from Dell.
So you have legal Vista and a Legal Windows 7.
Glad you your gotit fixed.i dont have vista anymore- only windows seven came on disc my vista is gone nowI haven't used the Windows 7 yet but this post could be helpful in the future.
