Answer» after upgrade from window 89 to 8.2 . the start up error comes up run DLL this was a problem starting c:\windows\system32\logiLDa.dll Control Panel>System>Device Manager>Human Interface Devices>USB input Device (Logitech Download Assistant). I ENCOUNTERED no such issue as your problem but I never installed Logitech's software on this computer. When I started using a Logitech mouse with it, with Windows 8, I simply let Windows recognize it, which it immediately did.Logitech Setpoint software offers increased functionality over Windows. [recovering disk space, attachment deleted by admin]The Logitech panel in your image only contains one setting I do have without installing Logitech's software (SetPoint); that setting is Smooth Scrolling. I'm not sure what Smooth Scrolling is, so that FEATURE might be sufficient justification to install SetPoint; hard to say without KNOWING exactly what Smooth Scrolling is. |
